Happy New Year!
Once again it is a new year full of new possibilities, opportunities and resolutions.
Many people make resolutions about their bodies, health, diet and exercise. While it is imperative for all of us to take care of our bodies on the inside with diet and exercise, plastic surgery is still increasing in demand every year.
What will 2015 will bring?
2014 was the year of the butt and that will still continue into this year. It is a huge trend, especially with celebrity examples like Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardsahian, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, etc.
I don’t think this trend will be ending anytime soon, however if you are thinking of having it done, remember to do things in moderation because that big ol booty won’t look good when you’re 65. Gravity strikes everywhere!
Smaller breasts are still trending!
The more consistent sizes that are requested are a C-cup -anywhere from 300 to 400 cc’s using moderate or moderate plus silicone implants.
There is a new saline breast implant on the market, however patients are still requesting silicone 95 percent of the time.
Fat transfer and facial fillers continue to be popular, and traditional facelifts do not seem to be in demand as much because patients are doing the less invasive procedures at a younger age. Ultherapy, skin tightening, and other treatments that require no down time are the most sought after.
Micro Needling is also a popular lunch time procedure. I personally love this treatment, because it can be done on many skin types and effectively treats many skin conditions such as acne scars, fine lines, and large pores.
Of course, the neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport have and will always continue to be in demand, but it will be interesting to see what new toxins appear on the market.
I wish you all the best in this new year, and will continue to provide the best and most accurate information for you about plastic surgery in the coming year!
